ghoti

ghoti, according to george bernard shaw, really spells "fish". i'm a fishy sort of person. my life revolves around them. i work with them, i have pictures of them, and a fish representation is usually present on some part of my anatomy. started this blog to inspire myself to take pictures, but it never got off the ground as a photo blog. now I use it to occasionally post my opinions on things that are consuming my brain. feel free to comment. or not.

About Me

My photo
kirsten
I'm a fisheries biologist living (currently) in a small town in northern British Columbia. I spend the vast majority of my summer tromping around the wilderness assessing fish habitat for a variety of proposed industrial (mostly mining) projects. And in the winter I spend the vast majority of my time writing about what I did all summer. In my spare time, I'm a bagpiper, skier, fisher, procrastinator, amateur photographer (very amateur) and online lurker. I have 3 cats named Beaker, Bunsen and Links, and a significant other who thankfully feeds them..
